For this assignment in my Graphic Design I class, I chose to make the soundtrack of Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame into a vinyl record. For the artwork, I wanted something that could work for Disney but also stand on its own. After a lot of thought, I decided to recreate the rose window on the north facade of the cathedral.
Although I used many of the patterns and colors from the original window, I made some major changes, such as replacing Mary and the baby Jesus in the center with Quasimodo, swapping the saints in the inner circle for music notes, and putting the Fleur de Lis in the outer ring.
On the inside of the record, I arranged the lyrics to look like panes of stained glass, using colors from the rose window artwork.
Although it was not required for class, I create a website and some social media posts. They can be seen by clicking on the corresponding links.
